Job summary

Verts is seeking a Mobile Head of Kitchen to oversee catering across the Rushcliffe and Arnold area. You will lead kitchen operations, ensuring high food quality and service at multiple sites, while managing staff and stock across a 30-hour week.

The role requires catering experience, strong customer service, team leadership, and a solid understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment, preferably supervisory or management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lead a team and organise workloads under pressure.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications.
• Managing day to day kitchen operations across multiple sites.
• Supervising and supporting catering colleagues.
• Monitoring food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
• Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising waste.
• Maintaining records per company procedures.
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
• Providing cover across the catering operation as needed.
