Job summary

BM Caterers is seeking an experienced Relief Chef Manager to support multiple sites across the UK. The role involves leading kitchen and service teams, presenting seasonal menus, and managing stock and costs. Travel between sites is required with expenses reimbursed. You’ll drive quality, service and a positive team culture.

The ideal candidate has senior catering experience, strong cooking skills and a confident, supportive leadership style, with a focus on food safety and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef Manager or Head Chef required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems and HACCP.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide chef and management cover across BM Caterers sites.
• Lead kitchen and service teams to deliver high standards.
• Prepare and present seasonal, well-presented food.
• Support menus, food innovation, stock control and cost management.
• Build relationships with clients, customers and site teams.
• Maintain food safety, allergen, COSHH, HACCP standards and training.
