Job summary
JAM Recruitment Ltd. invites applications for an Instrument Control Automation Technician (ICA/C&I) based in Camberley, covering the Camberley & Esher pumping area.
It is a mobile, full-time role with a 38-hour week, providing a company van, tools and a fuel card, and opportunities for overtime and standby earnings. You will install, commission, maintain and repair water production assets, work with SCADA, PLCs and instrumentation, and diagnose faults to sustain asset availability and comply
Qualifications
- Qualified in instrumentation, control and automation disciplines with safety focus.
- Experience with water industry assets and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and fault-find from circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Familiar with SCADA systems, PLCs and process control networks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain and repair water production assets including level instrumentation and flow meters.
- Operate and optimise site processes and equipment with SCADA/PLC systems.
- Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to sustain reliability across the Camberley & Esher area.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers and provide technical training where needed.
