Job summary

Veolia Group is recruiting for a maintenance engineer to carry out planned maintenance across Hertfordshire. You’ll troubleshoot faults, support reliability, and maintain CMMS records with accurate data, ensuring compliance with safety rules and site procedures.

The role requires City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent, with hands‑on experience in utilities, mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency in PM systems and SOPs. A van is provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in planned maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and P&ID/electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS records.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance per schedule and during shutdowns.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults and support reliability.
• Maintain documentation/CMMS records with accurate data.
• Ensure safety and compliance by following EHS rules and risk assessments.
