Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV Trailer Mechanic or similar heavy vehicle role.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification or equivalent time-served experience.
• Familiarity with DVSA standards and vehicle safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance on HGV trailers and trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, braking, and suspension faults.
• Perform repairs to vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, electrical and bodywork.
• Replace and adjust components to maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Ensure all work adheres to DVSA regulations and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational efficiency.

• Competitive basic salary of £44,000 per annum, with potential earnings up to £55,000 including overtime
• Overtime paid at 1.5x rate, with hours Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm

Duties of a HGV Trailer Technician:
