Job summary

Procter Motor Repairs Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Mobile Technician to join our team. You will perform mobile breakdown support across depots and customer sites, alongside workshop maintenance, using a brand-new company van provided for the role.

The role offers a varied workload, involving diagnostics, servicing and repairs on HGVs and trailers, with on-call duties and evening callouts. Negotiable salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience working on HGVs and trailers.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Flexible approach to evening breakdowns and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
• Preparing vehicles/trailers for MOT testing.
• Vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
• General servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Attending mobile breakdowns, including evening callouts.
• Providing on-call breakdown cover.
• Working across multiple depots, workshops and customer yards.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
