Job summary

Accord Resourcing Ltd. is recruiting for a Mobile Trailer/HGV Technician in the Stockton-on-Tees area. The role involves visiting customer sites to service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles stay safe and roadworthy.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), strong diagnostics, and a full UK driving licence. A mobile role requires independence and a positive customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Shows ability to diagnose and rectify faults in HGVs/trailers.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be able to work independently in a mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend customer sites to carry out inspections and repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.

Accord Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established commercial vehicle business for an experienced Mobile Trailer / HGV Technician to join their growing team in the Stockton-on-Tees area.

The Role

As a Mobile Trailer / HGV Technician, you’ll travel to customer sites carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
• Attend customer sites to carry out inspections and repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and health & safety standards
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation

About You

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working on HGVs and/or trailers
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to work independently in a mobile role
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
