Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician to cover the Northamptonshire area. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair a fleet of commercial vehicles at customer sites, with a company van provided.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with flexible start times. The role offers up to £24.00 per hour (£56,160 basic) and a stable, permanent position with ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience working on HGVs, trucks or commercial vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing MOT preparation work.
• Attending customer sites across Northamptonshire.
• Ensuring work is completed safely to DVSA standards.
• Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.

We're recruiting for a Mobile HGV Technician to cover the Northamptonshire area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles at customer sites.

The Role As a Mobile HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for:

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
