Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Handyperson to work on a mobile basis across the Greater Manchester area. You will carry out reactive repairs to building fabric, with tasks including minor joinery, decoration, and general maintenance to keep sites safe and functional.

This hands-on role suits a multi-skilled individual and offers stability, ongoing opportunities, and an on-call rota. A background check is required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role.
• Strong background in commercial building maintenance.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the role (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods).
• Full UK driving license due to requirement of travel between sites and on call.
• Must be able to pass a vetting check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive building fabric repairs.
• Jobs would include unblocking toilets, litter picking, fixing locks, painting, fire alarm testing, cleaning.
• Support general maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe and functional.
• Identify and report faults or defects requiring further attention.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance tasks where required.

Mobile Handyperson - Greater Manchester

CBW Staffing Solutions are looking for an experienced and reliable Handyperson to work on a mobile basis covering the Greater Manchester area.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to building fabric. The role also includes minor joinery, basic decoration, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and well maintained. This is a hands-on position suited to a multi-skilled individual.

Package:

• Competitive salary up to £27,050 per annum
