Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to keep landscaped and communal greens in top condition around our estates in Matlock. This permanent, year‑round role offers a stable schedule and the chance to make a visible difference in local communities.

You will be part of a friendly team, require a full UK driving licence, and work outdoors in all weather with suitable uniform provided. Competitive benefits include pension and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Youll have a full UK driving licence – essential for a mobile role.
• Motivated and passionate about making a difference to external landscapes; enjoy outdoor work.
• Friendly and approachable with good communication skills; works well in a community setting.
• Experience with grounds maintenance and use of plant/machinery is preferred, ideally with local authorities or housing associations.
• PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaped and communal green areas to a high standard around estates.
• Carry out tractor and pedestrian grass maintenance, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, planting, weeding and litter picking.
• Commit to year‑round maintenance as part of a permanent contract.
