Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives in Matlock to maintain landscaped and communal green spaces across estates. A permanent, year-round position with a base salary and benefits awaits a team player ready to work outdoors.

You will perform grass maintenance, hedges and planting, with a mobile role requiring a full UK driving licence and a passion for outdoor work.

Qualifications

• A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude.
• You'll have a full UK driving licence – essential as it is a mobile role.
• You will need to live within a reasonable commutable distance of the Matlock depot.
• You will really enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions (suitable uniform provided).
• You’ll have a good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience in grounds maintenance with plant/machinery, ideally for a local authority or housing association.
• PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining landscaped and communal green areas to a high standard in and around estates.
• Duties include tractor and pedestrian grass maintenance, brush cutting/strimming, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, planting, weeding and weed control, and litter picking.
