Sodexo is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support school catering across the West Midlands, including Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester and Solihull. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10am–2pm with flexibility, term-time only; travel between sites and a valid driving licence are essential.
You will prepare meals, assist with service, maintain hygiene and safety, and travel between sites as needed.

As a Mobile Catering Assistant,you won't be based at just one school. Instead, you'll travel to support different school catering teams across Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester, and Solihull. You could be supporting a site for a single day, a week, or even a month, depending on business needs. This variety makes the role ideal for someone adaptable, proactive, and keen to broaden their experience across multiple sites.

Supporting school kitchens across multiple locations as required.
Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for pupils and staff.
Assisting with food preparation, service, and presentation.
Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and fully stocked.
Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries.
Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Representing Sodexo professionally at every site you support.
Working collaboratively with different teams and quickly adapting to new environments.
A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude.
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and kitchen teams.
Strong time management and the ability to work well under pressure.
Previous catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as travel between sites will be required.
