Job summary

Sodexo is hiring for a hands-on catering role across school sites. You will prepare and present meals to a high standard, keep areas hygienic, and support deliveries. Travel between sites may be required while ensuring safe food handling and compliance with safety guidelines.

The role operates 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time (39 weeks paid over 52). A full UK driving licence and a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required for this position and own vehicle may be required for travel to different sites.
• Experience in a similar environment is helpful.
• Demonstrate dedication, organization and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for school teams and pupils.
• Keep kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic.
• Support loading and unloading of supplies and deliveries.

You'll play an important role in keeping our fast-paced food and beverage operations running smoothly. You'll support the kitchen and front-of-house teams, help prepare and present food to a high standard, and ensure customers receive an excellent service experience. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across different school sites, supporting teams and helping to maintain consistently high standards wherever you are needed. And the best part? • Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
• Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
• Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
• Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
• Always uphold the reputation of the company., ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSED Retention BONUS for all attached mobile roles - £200 on successful completion of 12 week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks complete employment in role. Have a great sense of teamwork.

• Full training and full protective uniform supplied., £13.00 per hour (mileage expenses: first 10.000 miles per miles 0.45pence miles, after it will be 0.25pence per mile)
