Sodexo Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support school catering teams across Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester and Solihull. You will rotate between sites, enjoying a variety of environments while contributing to nutritious meals for pupils and staff.

This role offers term-time hours, 20 hours per week, and travel between sites with mileage expenses reimbursed. A full UK driving licence is essential, with full training provided and potential for progression within Sodexo.

Mobile Catering Assistant,you won't be based at just one school. Instead, you'll travel to support different school catering teams across

Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester, and Solihull. You could be supporting a site for a single day, a week, or even a month, depending on business needs. This variety makes the role ideal for someone adaptable, proactive, and keen to broaden their experience across multiple sites.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting school kitchens across multiple locations as required.

Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for pupils and staff.

Assisting with food preparation, service, and presentation.

Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and fully stocked.

Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries.

Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.

Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.

Representing Sodexo professionally at every site you support.

Working collaboratively with different teams and quickly adapting to new environments.

Package Description

“

Term-time roles. Full-time progression”

£13.20per hour

20hours per week

Working pattern: Monday - Friday (10am - 2pm, must be flexible)

Term Time only(39week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)**

This position requires and Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Mileage expenses: first 10.000 miles per miles 0.45pence miles, after it will be 0.25 pence per mile)

ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSEDRetention BONUSfor all attached mobile roles–£200on successful completion of 12 week probation, further£300after 52 weeks complete employment in role.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will supplied at interview stage.**
