Job summary

EQUANS is recruiting a Mobile Gas Engineer based in Belfast to lead gas-related services across residential and commercial projects. You will install, service, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

The role involves mentoring colleagues, supervising projects, and coordinating with clients. A Gas Safe registration, NVQ level 3 in Plumbing/Heating, and 5+ years of experience are essential. OOH rota may be required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating / Gas Installation.
• Current Gas Safe registration and certifications (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1).
• Proven experience as a gas engineer, with at least 5+ years in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently.
• Carry out gas safety checks and inspections per regulations.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £36,000 doe, van & fuel card and benefits package.General OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Engineer to lead, manage, and deliver gas-related services across residential, commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and systems, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
