Job summary

Pixel Toys is seeking a QA Technician to execute functional, regression, exploratory, and feature-focused testing across our game projects. You will identify, reproduce, and document issues with thorough detail, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and producers to prioritise defects and verify fixes.

You will support release readiness by validating build stability and identifying risks for upcoming milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience as QA Technician or similar QA role in games is required.
• Testing across platforms, especially mobile (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of game development lifecycles, Agile, live-service environments.
• Strong debugging skills to identify root causes and report risks.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and feature-focused testing across game projects.
• Identify, reproduce, and document issues with thorough detail; report to developers.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable reports for engineers.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Designers, and Producers to prioritise defects and verify fixes.
• Support release readiness by validating build stability and identifying risks for milestones.
• Contribute to test planning and coverage reviews across the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and assist less experienced QA team members.
• Share knowledge, review test cases, and help colleagues develop testing skills.
• Refine QA workflows, documentation, and testing methodologies.
• Support quality standards across the studio.
