Job summary
Pixel Toys in Leamington Spa, UK, is seeking an Experienced QA Technician to ensure the quality, stability, and playability of our mobile games through thorough testing and clear defect reporting.
You will work with Engineers, Designers and Producers to prioritise fixes, verify resolutions, and contribute to release readiness, while mentoring peers and helping refine QA processes.
Experience with Android and iOS testing and Jira is preferred, and a background in games QA is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Experience as a QA Technician or similar role in games.
- Platform testing across Android and iOS.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and live-service environments.
- Strong defect investigation and root-cause analysis skills.
- Proficient test planning, case design, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and feature testing.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects with detailed steps.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Designers and Producers to prioritise fixes.
- Support release readiness by validating builds and risks.
- Mentor and develop junior QA team members.
