Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to work in Croydon, Greater London. You will diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment, and travel to customer sites to perform planned and emergency maintenance.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, experience with hydraulics, engines and battery systems, and a full UK driving licence. Hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime at 1.5x; a company van and

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites to complete planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and ensure accurate documentation.
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Salary: £36,000 – £44,000 (door-to-door paid)
