Alecto Recruitment is working with a market-leading materials handling specialist to recruit a Mobile Forklift Engineer. Based from St Albans and covering London, Bucks, Beds and Herts, this role offers a solid mechanical background, varied forklift fleet work, and clear progression.

You will service, maintain, repair and diagnose equipment, handle hydraulics and electrical faults, and work in a customer-facing, independent role with strong support.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical background required.
• Forklift, plant, HGV, automotive or similar experience is acceptable.
• Looking for progression, stability and a company that values engineers.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, repairs & diagnostics of forklifts & warehouse equipment.
• Working on a variety of forklifts & warehouse equipment.
• Fault finding, hydraulics, electrical work.
• Customer-facing, independent role with strong support.
• Mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
