Job summary

Veolia is seeking a skilled tradesperson to support maintenance across six mental health units in the Chichester area. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure documentation is completed before and after tasks.

A clean driving licence and on-site collaboration with contractors are essential. The role offers a salary of £34,000–£36,000 per year, a company vehicle, 40-hour weeks, and rota-based callouts.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Carpentry, Plumbing, Decoration, or another suitable trade.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance in facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across six mental health units in the Chichester area.
• Troubleshoot problems and liaise with site management and supervisors.
• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks and coordinate with contractors.
• Participate in training and carry out risk assessments of equipment maintenance tasks.
