Job summary

Calibre Search in Swindon is seeking a Fabric Technician to join our growing maintenance team. This mobile, hands-on role covers multiple sites in the Swindon area and focuses on keeping client sites safe, compliant and fully operational.

You will perform both PPM and reactive maintenance across building fabric, with duties ranging from basic joinery and painting to plumbing, flooring, hard landscaping and groundwork. A full UK driving licence and practical experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• GCSEs or equivalent required.
• Good IT/iPad skills and confidence using digital job management systems.
• Practical experience across general building fabric and groundwork repairs.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
• Ability to complete varied maintenance tasks to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across sites.
• General building fabric maintenance, joinery and painting, plumbing repairs.
• Minor flooring repairs including tiling and vinyl.
• Hard landscaping, groundwork, and brickwork repairs.
• Channel drains, manholes, paving, fencing and concreting tasks.
• HVAC filter cleaning and operating small plant/machinery where required.
