Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Mobile Fabric Maintenance Engineer to cover NW London sites. You will perform routine fabric maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and door/lock repairs.

Work is mobile with safety and compliance emphasis. Salary up to £42,000 per year plus a company van and fuel card, Monday–Friday, standard hours.

A valid UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2/3 (or time-served equivalent) are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer, Handyperson, or Multi-Skilled Technician in a commercial or mobile environment.
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Painting) or time-served equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for van usage).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine fabric maintenance, minor repairs, and reactive works across designated facilities in NW London.
• Perform basic carpentry, door/lock repairs, painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and minor tiling/plastering.
• Ensure all work meets strict health, safety, and compliance standards within operational emergency service buildings.
• Manage job tickets via a mobile device, keeping clear records of completed work and ordering necessary materials.
