Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Facilities Operative to support a portfolio of sites across Greater London, Essex, Kent and Surrey. Based in East London or West Essex, the role involves regular travel to multiple client locations and delivering high-quality facilities support.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensure sites are safe and compliant, complete inspections, and liaise with site contacts, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, building services, maintenance, or a similar operational role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to travel regularly throughout the South East region.

Responsibilities

Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Mobile Facilities Operative to support a portfolio of sites across Greater London, Essex, Kent, and Surrey.

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to multiple locations, delivering high-quality facilities support and ensuring sites are maintained to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be strategically based within the East London or West Essex region, providing efficient access to our network of sites and enabling prompt response to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple client locations across London and the South East.
• Carry out planned and reactive facilities support activities.
• Ensure sites are maintained in a safe, compliant, and professional manner.
• Complete inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Liaise with site contacts, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

The role will support sites across:

• Essex: Brentwood, Harlow, Purfleet, Barking and Southend-on-Sea
• Kent: Dartford
