Job summary

Mr Plant Hire is seeking a Mobile CAP Engineer to inspect, service and repair powered access platforms across our rental fleet. You will perform pre-delivery and LOLER inspections and attend customer sites to diagnose and fix breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has an IPAF CAP licence, strong fault-finding skills and a full UK driving licence. The role requires independence, good time management and the ability to work under pressure on busy sites.

Qualifications

• IPAF CAP licence with proven experience in powered access inspection, servicing and repair.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and LOLER inspections.
• Attending customer sites to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment.
• Diagnosing faults, reassembling components and testing machines to ensure they are hire-ready.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required.
