Job summary

Mr Plant Hire is seeking a Mobile CAP Engineer to inspect, service and repair powered access platforms across our rental fleet. You will perform pre-delivery and LOLER inspections and attend customer sites to diagnose and fix breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has an IPAF CAP licence, strong fault-finding skills and a full UK driving licence. The role requires independence, good time management and the ability to work under pressure on busy sites.

Qualifications

IPAF CAP licence with proven experience in powered access inspection, servicing and repair.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and LOLER inspections.
Attending customer sites to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.
Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment.
Diagnosing faults, reassembling components and testing machines to ensure they are hire-ready.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times.
Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required.
