Stripe is seeking a mobile-focused engineer to join the Direct Surfaces Team in London, delivering a world-class mobile experience for Stripe Treasury users. You’ll design, build, and scale mobile features, collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding projects from inception to launch.

The role emphasizes mentoring, strong UI/API discipline, and a passion for delivering impactful financial products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience building mobile applications including working beyond the client.
• Understand good practices when building UIs and APIs.
• Measure success by business impact, not lines of code.
• Collaborate across teams and earn trust at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a world-class mobile experience for Treasury users, including designing and launching new features.
• Scope and lead technical projects to evolve and scale products.
• Design, build, and maintain mobile-specific view components, backing APIs and services.
• Align technical decisions with Stripe's strategic initiatives and emerging businesses.
• Collaborate with engineers across the company to optimize use of existing infra or build bespoke solutions.
• Make tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and sustainable tech.
