Job summary
ABM is recruiting a Mobile Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across the London Fire Brigade estate. You will conduct PPM, fault diagnostics, and installations, with a focus on SFG 20 standards and safe on-site practices.
Work includes generator load testing, emergency lighting checks, L8 awareness, and MEP building fabric tasks. You will document work, source quotes, and ensure timely invoicing while maintaining safety and teamwork on site.
Qualifications
- Planned maintenance to SFG 20 standards.
- Emergency lighting fundamentals unit 1 & 2.
- Generator load testing and L8 awareness.
- Trade qualifications (Plumbing, Mechanical or Electrical).
- IPAF and PASMA certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Planned maintenance across LFB estate to SFG 20 standard.
- Completing engineer worksheets with full details and photos.
- Source remedial quotations and attach to the job.
- Complete works to prevent call backs and KPI failures.
- Identify lifecycle replacement requirements.
- Submit weekly timesheet and expenses with receipts.
- Complete all paperwork on site and obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
