Job summary

ABM UK seeks a Mobile van-based Electrical Building Service Engineer to perform planned preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, including building fabric, across multiple sites. You will work Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities as required.

The role involves close interaction with the Site supervisor and Contract Manager, using PDA CMMS for task updates, and ensuring health & safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/commercial maintenance.
• PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
• Electrical safety and building services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by Site supervisor & Contract Manager, including electrical & mechanical PPM and reactive works.
• Close/update completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the PDA CMMS.
• Ensure workmanship standards to maximise operation, effectiveness and reliability of building systems.
• Assist specialist subcontractors for PPM and reactive works.
• Maintain site records and documentation for all site works.
• Inspect condition of services and respond to call-outs as required by management.
• Provide regular on-call support for site emergencies outside normal hours.
