Job summary

Stuart Power is seeking a Mobile Engineer to service and repair a fleet of diesel-powered generators, pumps and lighting towers from the Shropham depot. The role requires travel to sites across the UK and a valid UK driving licence.

You will be part of a full-time, in-person team with involvement in out-of-hours rota. Key duties include fault diagnosis, equipment preparation for hire, and load testing to ensure device effectiveness.

Qualifications

Knowledge of diesel engines is essential.
Experience with generators and/or pumps.
Good time management with the ability to organise and prioritise under pressure.
Attention to detail is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

Carry out service and repairs on rental fleet at various sites and at depot.
Prepare equipment for hire.
Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical issues on generators, pumps and lighting towers.
Identify parts required to facilitate effective repairs.
Load test on generators to ensure effectiveness of equipment.
Provide engineer support to depot operations.

Mobile Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity within our company for a Mobile Generator Service Engineer at our Shropham depot.

This role involves carrying out service and maintenance repairs on our rental fleet of diesel-powered generators, pumps and lighting towers.

The nature of this role requires travel to and from site for both service and breakdown calls therefore, a UK driving licence is essential.

This position is full time and flexibility in respect of working hours is expected, as is an availability to work the companies on call out of hours rota.

Duties Include:

Carry out service and repairs on our rental fleet at various sites and at depot
Preparation of equipment for hire
Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical issues on generators, pumps and lighting towers
Identify parts required to facilitate effective repairs
Load test on generators to ensure effectiveness of equipment

Desirable But Not Essential:

Previous experience within a rental environment
