We are expanding our electrical division to meet the growing demands of our expanding business.

We are seeking a Mobile Electrician to join our team in the Middlesbrough area.

This role involves installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the south region, in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have practical electrical engineering skills and experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with an on-call rota every 1 out of 2 weeks, which may vary depending on business needs.

Applicants must hold an ECS Gold Card or relevant qualifications/experience in Electrical Installations to qualify for one. This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation work in accordance with current I.E.E. Regulations and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
• Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units to legislative standards.
• Produce reports and estimates for repairs and advise on safety issues as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work areas and vehicles.
• Adhere to all Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Communicate effectively with managers, customers, and stakeholders regarding expectations, timelines, and service levels.
• Work independently, managing own workloads and call-outs.
• Attend call-outs as part of a rota (1 in 2 weeks).

Qualifications:

Essential: JIB Qualified Electrician and eligibility for ECS Gold Card. Preferred: 18th Edition.

Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
