Job summary

NG Bailey, a leading UK engineering and services company, seeks a Mobile Electrical Technician to cover railway sites across London, Kent, and surrounding areas. You will operate with a company van, hold a valid UK driving license, and may require a PTS sentinel card.

This is a full-time role with a 40-hour week and a 1 in 6 call-out rota. You will perform electrical maintenance, keep documentation up to date, and work to safety regulations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring

• City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
• City and Guilds 18th Edition
• City and Guilds 2391 (desirable)
• PTS - Personal Track Safety (desirable)
• IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable)
• Safe System of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc. (desirable)
• L8 Training (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Ensure work follows method statements, risk assessments and safety legislation.
• Complete PPM tasks and reactive works within SLAs.
• Maintain premises to high standards through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong client relationships through outstanding service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for audits.
• Use the client's CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work per industry standards.

About the Role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? NG Bailey Facilities Services is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Electrical Technician to join our prestigious SETL - South East Trains Limited Railway Contract. You’ll be at the forefront of electrical maintenance across train stations in the London, Metro, Southeast London, and Kent areas, with occasional work in Sussex.

As a key member of our team, you’ll enjoy the freedom of a company van and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. A UK Driving License is essential, and you’ll need to pass a medical and obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) sentinel card if you don’t already have one. This is a condition of employment.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Ensure all work aligns with method statements, risk assessments, and safety legislation.
• Deliver exceptional service by completing PPM tasks and reactive works within contractual Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain high standards across all premises through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their representatives through outstanding customer service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for regular audits.
• Utilize the client's CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work in accordance with industry standards.

Working Hours

Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a call-out rota of 1 in 6 weeks.
