Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Electrical Technician to cover train stations across London, the Southeast, Kent and occasional Sussex work. You will maintain electrical systems, perform PPMs, with a focus on safety and compliant service delivery, under a 40-hour week with 1-in-6 callouts.

Applicants must hold relevant electrical qualifications and a UK driving license; PTS eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications required for field maintenance and safety compliance.
• City and Guilds and PTS are desirable for site access and risk management.
• Professional training in RAMS and PTW procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and installation in rail environments.
• Deliver PPM tasks and reactive works within SLAs.
• Ensure work complies with method statements and safety legislation.
• Maintain site documentation for audits and CAFM system entries.
• Develop strong client relationships through reliable service.

About the Role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? NG Bailey Facilities Services is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Electrical Technician to join our prestigious SETL - South East Trains Limited Railway Contract. You’ll be at the forefront of electrical maintenance across train stations in the London, Metro, Southeast London, and Kent areas, with occasional work in Sussex.

An essential requirement for on role is that you have a UK Driving License and you’ll need to pass a medical and obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) sentinel card if you don’t already have one. This is a condition of employment.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Ensure all work aligns with method statements, risk assessments, and safety legislation.
• Deliver exceptional service by completing PPM tasks and reactive works within contractual Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain high standards across all premises through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their representatives through outstanding customer service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for regular audits.
• Utilize the client's CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work in accordance with industry standards.

Working Hours

Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a call-out rota of 1 in 6 weeks.

• IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable)
• Safe System of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc. (desirable)
• L8 Training (desirable)
