Job summary

Thames Water seeks an experienced Electrical Technician for a mobile role across multiple pumping stations in the Home Counties South area. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install and repair electrical and mechanical plant with minimum supervision.

You will provide technical guidance, coach apprentices, and ensure outstanding customer service while upholding health and safety standards. Based at Camberley or Esher sites with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical / mechanical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred; training can be given.
• Full UK driving licence holder.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.
• Respond to alarms and carry out reactive maintenance across multiple pumping stations.
• Record work and asset information to improve performance and raise risks for resolution.
• Provide technical advice and support, coaching apprentices and staff as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and maintain professional conduct with internal and external customers.
