Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to cover sites across Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Wallingford, Newbury and Thatcham. You will identify risks, update drawings, manage spares, and drive preventative maintenance programs.

The role requires electrical and mechanical competencies, 3-phase systems up to 440V, fault finding, and the ability to supervise contractors. You will work with the CAFM system, plan daily tasks, and may include nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition.
• Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standard.
• Ability to fault find.
• Experience on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Able to write Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Able to understand and write Permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client via on-site equipment; update drawings and identify critical spares.
• Improve performance of machinery and implement the preventative maintenance program.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery; support health and safety.
• Write and follow Risk Assessments; complete required documentation.
• Work on Three Phase Systems up to 440V; motors, gearboxes, valves (hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical).
• Use CAFM to log works; plan daily tasks via email/calendar.
• Liaise with Site Services to manage building services issues; deputise Shift Leader when needed.
• Overtime may be required, including nights/weekends; perform ad hoc duties.
