Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for a mobile role covering West London - Victoria. You will identify risks, update drawings and drive the preventative maintenance program while ensuring safety compliance.

Electrical and mechanical competencies are essential, including 3-phase systems up to 440V, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics. You will fault find, use CAFM systems and coordinate with building services teams.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time served apprenticeship required.
• City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical (17th Edition) required.
• Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standard.
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical or Mechanical.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through on-site equipment and update drawings.
• Maintain production environment using new equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Fault find on all types of machinery.
• Write and follow risk assessments; ensure safety compliance.
• Work on three phase systems up to 440V; operate motors, gearboxes, hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems.
• Use CAFM Maintenance System to plan and record tasks.
• Overtime may be required (nights/weekends).
• Liaise with Site Services to manage building services issues.
• Support Shift Leader during leave or sickness.
