Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to service commercial sites across the Swindon area. You will perform PPM, respond to breakdowns, and undertake minor installation tasks, ensuring electrical systems run smoothly.

The role requires NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds, AM2, and 18th Edition knowledge, with travel between sites and a UK driving licence. A van and tools are provided along with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 certificate required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
• Undertake minor installation tasks related to power supply, lighting and distribution.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
