Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Banbury is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy commercial-sites team. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and respond to breakdowns to keep electrical systems running smoothly.

The role requires full qualification with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, AM2, and up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, plus a UK driving licence for site travel.

Qualifications

Fully qualified with an NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Electrical Installation.
AM2 certificate.
Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid UK driver’s licence is essential for site travel.

Responsibilities

Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
Undertake minor installation tasks (power supply, lighting, power distribution, etc.).
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
