Job summary
Randstad Construction and Property in Swindon is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to maintain electrical systems across commercial sites. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and rapid response to issues on diverse sites, ensuring optimal operation of power, lighting and distribution networks.
The role requires a full UK driving licence, AM2/18th Edition qualifications and a proactive approach to safety and documentation, with a company van provided for travel between sites
Qualifications
- Fully qualified with an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
- AM2 certificate.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- PPM on electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
- Undertake minor installation tasks for power, lighting and distribution.
- Troubleshoot faults and ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain health and safety compliance.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report findings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
