Job summary

Boden Group in Birmingham is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned, reactive and emergency maintenance across facilities management sites.

In this permanent role, you will coordinate with mobile technical colleagues, supervise third‑party suppliers, and support procurement while maintaining equipment records and IT documentation.

You'll work Monday to Friday on a mobile position with a focus on safety and reliability to keep site operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full electrical qualifications and experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Essential: Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Essential: The ability to prioritise workloads.
• Ideally, a recognised qualification in Testing and Inspection.
• Portable Appliance Testing skills would be advantageous.
• IPAF or PASMA qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned electrical and/or mechanical maintenance in line with contract specifications.
• Carry out reactive and emergency maintenance alongside minor project works.
• Coordinate with mobile technical colleagues and supervise third-party resources and suppliers.
• Work with clients and support day-to-day health and safety requirements.
• Support procurement requirements for your areas of work.
• Maintain company equipment and complete IT records and paperwork accurately and promptly.
