Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc is seeking a Mobile Engineer to cover a 42-hour week, Monday to Friday, at Speedy Services’ Teesside location. The role focuses on electrical fault-finding, repairs and assembly of industrial tools and lifting equipment, with a strong emphasis on working at customer sites.

The position offers flexible hours, a supportive ESG agenda, and opportunities for training, development and career progression within a leading UK hire provider.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Experience working at 110V and above, ideally in hire or similar engineering fields.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Able to support ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Based at customer sites, perform electrical fault-finding, repairs and assembly on industrial products such as power tools and lifting equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns to keep equipment available for customers.
