Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Mobile Electrical Multi Skilled Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services across client sites in London and the home counties. The role involves travel to multiple sites, working 8am–5pm, and reporting to the Senior Technical Manager.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Benefits include a company van, pension, 25 days holiday, sick pay, life assurance, EAP, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Minimum three years' proven experience in a similar role.
• Certification in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Additional training in high-voltage systems or renewable energy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs on electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, control systems).
• Safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Fault diagnosis and implementation of solutions to minimise disruption.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and complete job reports after every visit; participate in out-of-hours or emergency responses where required.
