Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team serving Settle and surrounding areas. This dual role covers Personal Care and Domestic Services, with travel between developments and a 35-hour week. A £300 probation bonus is available on passing probation.

Requires a valid UK driving licence and access to your own car for travel between sites. Hourly rate starts at £14.50 with extra £0.30 for evenings and £1.30 for weekends.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management are essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own car are required for mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and provide domestic support within developments.
• Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments.
