Job summary

United Drains is seeking a Drainage & Plumbing Engineer to join our nationwide team, covering a 100‑mile radius of London and beyond. You will perform drainage installations, repairs and CCTV surveys across commercial sites, with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands‑on drainage experience, a full UK driving licence, and a proactive, customer‑facing approach. Typical hours are 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime and bonuses available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in drainage engineering.
• Proficient in drain laying, CCTV surveys, high‑pressure jetting.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent customer service & communication abilities.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).

Role Overview:

We’re seeking experienced and proactive Drainage Engineers with at least 2 years of hands‑on industry experience. The ideal candidate will be confident in a wide range of tasks and committed to delivering high standards of work across commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unblock drains and carry out fault finding
• Perform CCTV drain surveys and reporting
• High‑pressure water jetting
• Carry out excavations and drain laying
• Basic plumbing tasks
• Prepare and submit quotations
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations

Key Requirements:

• Flexible with availability for occasional overtime and call‑outs
• Willing to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
