Job summary

Embark is seeking a Mobile Diesel Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to be based in the West Midlands, working on diesel engines across construction plant equipment including telehandlers, excavators and dumpers, with focus on servicing, repairs and PDI's.

The role is permanent full time, Monday to Friday with overtime. A company van is provided, and prior experience in plant hire or construction equipment is essential; a valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Prev. experience in Plant Hire / Construction Equipment
• Ability to solve problems analytically
• Able to work without instruction
• IT literacy is required
• Own tools required
• Good verbal and written communication
• Valid driving license

Responsibilities

• PDI, servicing and repairing plant equipment
• Attend breakdowns on client sites
• Service plant equipment on-site
• Fit accessories as required
• Work well under pressure
• Complete service and repair records accurately
• Maintain health and safety to HSE standards
