Job summary

Embark is seeking a Mobile Diesel Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to be based in the West Midlands, working on diesel engines across construction plant equipment including telehandlers, excavators and dumpers, with focus on servicing, repairs and PDI's.

The role is permanent full time, Monday to Friday with overtime. A company van is provided, and prior experience in plant hire or construction equipment is essential; a valid driving license is required.

Job Role:

Working for a family owned Plant Hire Equipment company, you will be working as a Mobile Diesel Plant Fitter / Service Engineer – based in the West Midlands. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Plant, equipment including Telehandlers, excavators, Dumpers etc. The salary for this position is £18.00 - £22.00 per hour, plus overtime as required. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Diesel Engines, with previous experience working on Construction Plant Equipment. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime.

Skills:

The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have:

• Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer
• You Will Need Previous Experience within the Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry
• Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
• Able to Work Without Instruction
• IT Literate
• Own Tool Kit
• Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written
• Current Driving License
