Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Device Rollout Engineer for a large-scale project in South Wales. This initial 3-4 month contract is outside IR35 with an immediate start. The role involves hands-on staging and configuration of iPhones, on-site replacements, and ensuring users are fully operational before moving to the next device.

You'll handle enrolment, access issues and basic troubleshooting, with scope for longevity if the rollout expands due to additional users/devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT hardware or EUC rollout projects.
• Experience supporting iPhones/iOS in a corporate environment.
• Experience with Intune, JAMF or another MDM.
• Comfort with device staging, provisioning, enrolment and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, MFA and user authentication.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on rollout of mobile devices, staging and configuring for deployment.
• Visit sites to replace devices and ensure users are ready to use them.
• Resolve setup, enrolment and access issues; escalate complex cases.
• Support potential scope expansion as rollout progresses; adapt accordingly.

Mobile Device Rollout Engineer x 2/3

Immediate Start

I'm looking to speak with experienced Mobile Device Rollout / EUC Engineers for a large scale mobile refresh project covering a few thousand devices.

It's a proper hands on rollout, getting new iPhones staged and configured, going out to site to replace the existing devices and making sure users are fully up and running before moving onto the next one.

You'll deal with any issues around setup, enrolment and access as they come up, escalating anything more complex where needed.

Anyone who's worked on a big refresh project will know the initial device count isn't always where it finishes either, with extra users and devices often coming into scope once the rollout starts, so there could be some longevity in it.
