Job summary

Wren Kitchens in Edinburgh (Fort Kinnaird Showroom) is seeking a Mobile Designer to present kitchen and bedroom designs in customers’ homes, delivering the authentic Wren experience. You’ll work on a showroom-based role with travel to client homes to measure spaces and design layouts.

The role offers a base salary of £26,440 with uncapped commission and an OTE around £50,000, reflecting strong earning potential for customer-focused designers. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the KBB industry or fitted furniture sales.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of service.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Full UK manual driving licence with 6 or fewer penalty points.
• Organised and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customers by showcasing the boundless possibilities of Wren's kitchen and bedroom designs.
• Guide customers throughout the entire process, from initial inquiry to their first design, and witness the transformation of their dream kitchen into reality
• Conduct thorough surveys of customers' homes, accurately measuring and capturing reference photos.
• Explain this process to the customer during your visit.
• Manage your schedule, allocating sufficient time to each customer to create their dream design.
• Maintain consistent communication with your customer base to foster strong relationships and ensure their expectations are met.

About The Role

We're looking for a Mobile Designer to join our team in the Edinburgh - Fort Kinnaird Showroom!

Our cutting-edge showrooms serve as an endless source of inspiration for our customers. With our Mobile Showrooms, we have a unique chance to meet customers in the comfort of their own homes, delivering an authentic Wren design experience.

You'll receive a competitive basic salary of £26,440 with uncapped commission and an OTE of £50,000.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspire customers by showcasing the boundless possibilities of Wren's kitchen and bedroom designs.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

• Prior experience in the KBB industry or fitted furniture sales is required.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional level of service to every customer.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate our customers' needs.
• Full UK manual driving license with 6 or less penalty points
• Organised and capable of working independently, effectively managing your time to optimise each customer's experience.

Applications are subject to a basic DBS check, convictions considered on a individual basis.

Must hold a full driving licence and be able to meet company driver approval requirements, including DVLA licence checks or equivalent verification to the company's satisfaction prior to appointment.
