Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking staff to support a mobile CT unit for Lung Cancer Screening. You will greet patients, check them in for Low Dose CT appointments, and assist the radiographer with patient positioning during scanning on 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm with a one-hour lunch break.

You will help prepare patients for procedures, monitor comfort, and keep the clinical area clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival in a friendly, professional, and reassuring manner
• Check patients in for their scheduled Low Dose CT appointments
• Assist the radiographer with patient positioning during scanning procedures
• Monitor patient comfort and wellbeing throughout procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy clinical environment at all times
• Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance policies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team
• Participate in mandatory training and continuing professional development
