Job summary

TIC Health is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our private medical imaging team in England. You will combine front-of-house duties with clinical support, assisting radiographers with CT procedures and ensuring a safe, patient-centered experience on the Lung Cancer Screening Programme and other clinics.

Based in mobile CT units, you will greet patients, check them in, and help with positioning and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, clinic, or hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and instructions accurately.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of infection control and health and safety procedures.
• Calm and reassuring manner with anxious patients.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing clinic needs.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Able to travel between mobile CT units.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check patients in for scheduled Low Dose CT appointments.
• Assist radiographers with patient positioning during scanning.
• Monitor patient comfort and wellbeing throughout procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies.
• Handle patient enquiries and provide information.
• Travel between mobile CT units as required.
