Job summary

North Wales Housing is recruiting a Community Mobile Cleaner to maintain clean, safe communal spaces across our housing sites. You will travel between communities in a provided van and perform cleaning tasks to support residents’ well-being.

We offer a permanent contract for 35 hours per week, including weekends, with flexibility. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Dependable and friendly approach to work

• Awareness of basic health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Good communication with residents and colleagues
• Willingness to carry out physical duties including manual handling
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas across housing schemes (stairs, hallways, landings)
• Clean shared facilities and entrances; maintain internal windows and doors
• Remove rubbish and dog fouling; keep bin areas tidy for collection days
• Wipe handrails and communal surfaces; monitor cleaning stock
• Report health & safety concerns and liaise with supervisor or service manager
